The Surf Park Sharks developer pitch competition brings together the innovative minds in surf-anchored real estate development to pitch their groundbreaking projects to a panel of investors and industry leaders. This high-stakes event showcases the future of inland surfing and provides an exclusive platform for developers seeking funding, strategic mentorship, and industry exposure.

How to Submit:

Submit your full application, including your pitch deck and supporting evidence/documents, by June 30th, 2025.
Semifinalists and finalists will be informed of their selection by July 10th.

Participant Criteria:

Open to surf park projects at the capital-raising stage of their development process. Projects must meet the following requirements in order to apply

Vision of surf park
Identified specific geography/region
Established management team
Land/entitlement or demonstrable process to acquire land/entitlement
Business model including detailed pro forma, use of funds, and development costs
Concept of which wave technology you’ll use
Projects cannot have raised more than $5MM in equity to date

Submission Guidelines/Details:

Full applications must include your pitch deck, proforma, funding ask, and details of your management team, which will be treated confidentially and used for reviews only by Surf Park Central’s panel. Materials can and should be modified before the Surf Park Sharks if the applicant is selected
Up to 6 semifinalists will be selected from all applicants.
- Semifinalists will receive feedback from the SPC judging team and instruction on their application and an optional digital feature of their project proposal.
- Of the semifinalists, 3 finalists will be selected to present their project on stage in front of the Surf Park Summit audience and judges on September 2nd, 2026.
